WE COACH
CARE.
Four habits, repeated at the start of every practice. Kids hear these words every Sunday, and coaches notice when they get them right.
Concentration
We listen to our coaches, follow instructions, and work together as a team.
Attitude
We stay positive when things get hard. We try our best and stay excited to learn.
Respect
We use kind words, listen when others speak, and take care of the equipment.
Effort
We give our best in every drill. We try hard when something is difficult and never give up.
How we coach CARE
At the beginning of each practice, coaches remind players of the CARE rules. Throughout the session, we recognize and praise players who show these values. That consistency builds a gym where every kid can learn.
Parents’ role
Reinforce CARE at home. Ask your child how they showed Concentration, Attitude, Respect, and Effort at practice. Celebrating these values off the court helps kids carry them into everything else they do.
